Kickball Awesomeness

Mona and I have a kickball team, Kickball you may ask? Are you 10 is another question you're thinking of. It's understandable I mean we live in Portland and there are approximately 5 sunny days a year. But this kickball is different, you get to wear really fun outfits and since were all adults here, drinking is encourage ... errr I mean allowed. Touch of Girly

I am a girly girl through and through, but I have this constant battle between my classic side, loving simple pieces, subtle colors, natural nails and hair and the wild crazy side, that loves COLOR and a lot of it, colored highlights, crazy jewelry and statement pieces. The only thing my two sides have in common is a love of platform heels. So in this blog your going to see both of my sides and I am sure some other things in between.
The below look is what I would like to think of as a great girls night out look or that wild side date look. If you didn't want to wear a dress you could pair the jacket with a pink top and some leggings, but who wouldn't want to wear a cute flirty dress.

Spring Is in the Air

Are you like me and itching for spring to come? Maybe if you don't live in Portland, Oregon like I do you don't have to deal with rain, rain and more rain. Now don't get me wrong I am a native and I do Love boots and a nice trench, but a girl can only take so much before she wants to peel off those layers and get some sun. Now maybe your like my friend Mona who doesn't believe in colored pants, but I am loving all of the color that's coming out for spring. If your afraid of too much color (clearly your not me) just pick one statement piece and keep the rest neutral. Or slowly break into color with accessories, pick a couple great bangles in a bright aqua or shocking pink.
